Not really blogged much on here but there is something I wanted to share with you. I've started a personal project (which may lead to more) called Pocket Histories. It basically combines a short 'bite-size' history of a place along with a photo or two of it.

[link]Firstly, I thought it might just be interesting for you to have a look at, as we're all from the North East it's nice to read a bit about our heritage... but secondly, I'd quite like some interaction from you too. If you've been somewhere in the North East that you think would make a great addition to Pocket Histories, I'd love you to tell me a bit about it and where it is and hopefully I can go there at some point and add it to the page. There are a few I've done that I haven't put on the website yet, so they are being added to constantly but please do let me know if a particular place interests you. I'm a huge fan of anything with industrial decay, just like Dunston Staithes:
